Realizing that this article is very much biased and cynical, I decided to post it anyway. It is a very humorous concerning the recent decreasing average price of gas. The author, John Kelso, claims that such falling prices are merely the result the upcoming election. Thus, he has proposed a challenge to his readers. He is asking people to guess the date (after Nov. 7) that gas prices will hit $2.69. He is participating in this challenge as well. On Nov. 22, he is guessing that the gas prices will be back to the normal high prices. The reason that gas prices will gradually increase is because nothing in the economy or in international news has warranted this sudden drop in prices. If you're looking for a laugh, read the article listed below:

Once again, I was looking up information concerning gas prices, and I came across a very interesting article. Previously, I posted a blog stating that gas prices were decreasing in an effort to increase the popularity of the president and the republican party. However, new evidence shows that gas prices are starting to fall internationally as well. Prices in Japan, Korea, Guam, etc. are showing record lows for this time of the year. These reductions are a result of continued support from the AAFES (Army and Air Force Exchange Service). Currently, in Japan, mid-grade unleaded will cost $2.232 (a drop of 14.4 cents). This trend seems to arise in many of the Pacific countries. The article continues with more comparisons of gas prices from the past and analysis of what caused the prices to fall.
